All the chatter is about the NFL games playing the two nights of this “convention.” But two things:A glaring absence in the program: any mention of foreign policy or national security, topics that Republicans have traditionally embraced.

Of course if I were the RNC, I’d also look to run from Trump’s Iran War quagmire, fracturing of relationships, & embrace of authoritarians. https://t.co/T77sQm12ie
Yup. Nobody likes Trump.13% of Americans in the new Reuters/Ipsos poll now “Strongly Approve” of Trump’s job performance.

The cult is shrinking daily.
And the other: nobody likes conventions. Americans not watching football will be surfing streaming services. Maybe CBS will provide the feed to their affiliates (unless CBS is running a game π€·♂️), but what network will pre-empt its back from summer programming for this? Even PBS starts new episodes in September.
Who wants to watch Vance and Trump at a made up two-day convention which won’t make any news? I mean, other than whatever stupid thing Trump says. Or who Vance insults. π₯±
What geniuses at the RNC thought this was a good idea? Is Trump’s SuperPac paying for this?
Yeah, right.
