We have to consider the very real possibility a President whose approval rating has been underwater since the first month of his Presidency, and never reached 50% in his entire Presidency, doesn't really have that many "voters" he can count on in November, 2020.
He may very well be lying to this voters; but this crowd that follows him from rally to rally, may very well be the bulk of his supporters.
And pace Rick Wilson, the "people smarter than him" running the campaign are telling big money donors Trump represents the beginning of a political dynasty. Fools and their money are soon parted, and Trump is hardly the electoral juggernaut even his most ardent campaign workers think he is.
