Kids’ school in *Texas*: Nah. Snow day!!
Me, a New Yorker: We got 1.5 inches and it stopped at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Texas: Yeah, but we don’t do salt. Or plows. Or driving on melted snow.
And frankly the Hill Country side of Austin is not to be tangled with when the roads are covered in ice. Or snow. ❄️ Especially since it never lasts more than 24 hours.
