Extremely private:The Fuller Story: Man stopped with Glock and 500 rounds of ammo near Capitol was private security guard, his family says. He was not accused of showing phony credentials - but a "non-govt." credential -and an officer decided he wasn't authorized to enter. https://t.co/R5qi7XYE22

Or not. And it wasn’t just a Glock, and no, the ID wasn’t the central issue:NEW: Documents show his truck had several firearm-related decals, including "assault life" and "If they come for your guns Give 'em your bullets first." https://t.co/vn479siGeJ

He was not even charged with an offense for the ID. He was charged with bringing a small arsenal into the area in violation of several laws. And that’s the “fuller story.” The detail of being a private security guard is perhaps interesting, but utterly irrelevant. We have deleted a tweet that stated Wesley Beeler had a fake inauguration credential.

The police report stated Beeler had an unauthorized inauguration credential. https://t.co/vn479siGeJ
I even want confirmation that he actually had a job in private security, and didn’t just drive around with his guns imagining he was providing security. Because maybe that’s why he thought he could get past the checkpoint. To me, why he thought he’d get in is still the story.I know this is supposed to comfort me but the dude with the “If they come for your guns giv ‘em your bullets first,” bumper sticker getting hired for security does not. https://t.co/7cADzd4vVB
