Is this the same guy who writes for Politico? It's a definitive disqualification for being considered to have good political ideas for Democrats, writing for Politico or, especially, The Hill. I wish I could go back and slap the new-left in the head for what it did in 1968, ushering in Nixon and the slide down to Trump and probably farther. The secular left of the 1960s-today are uniformly counterproductive idiots.
