"I would like to say 'This book is written to the glory of God', but nowadays this would be the trick of a cheat, i.e., it would not be correctly understood."--Ludwig Wittgenstein

James Madison's notes on the Constitutional Convention as revealed by Wendell Phillips and the adoption of the Bill of Rights as documented by Paul Finkelman. I can't think of anything more revealing in an important way.

A woman in her cell, counseling people and working on her account of her visions and inventing literary Middle English (not in Latin!) in the process. Metaphorically dead but still in the world. A truly medieval concept.
ReplyDeleteTHAT’S entertainment! Long as they stay away from special effects to portray the visions.
Although I like yours better.
