He wants the documents back, but there’s no mechanism for that. He wants the charges dismissed, but that isn’t done by a tweet. He thinks the PRA applies and that removes the Espionage Act; or overrules it, or something.
He has lawyers, but he clearly doesn’t like what they’re doing for him. He can’t leave this to them, he has to insist it’s a question of majority rule, because “now…everyone understands.” Which means nothing to the courts, which are only interested in what the law allows; or requires.
And, of course, only the courts can “totally exonerate “ him. There is no shortcut there, either, no single mechanism to simply bring it about.
Oh, he knows what his defense is; but can he find a lawyer who will present it in court? CNN says Trump won’t pay his bills or listen to advice. Who wants to be next in line to be thrown under the bus for Trump, and get stiffed into the bargain?
On top of all that, I don’t think there’s any interest here in a plea deal.
