I doubt many of those convicts consider themselves Democrats. They were certainly MAGA, and Lindsay is proving MAGA=GOP. So did they not get fair trials in D.C.?

Is Lindsay raving? Or is he another “danger to democracy”? This sure seems to be an assault on the legal system.  Then again, all right thinking people are concerned that Smith can’t get a conviction in deep-red Miami. Lotsa MAGA-heads and anti-Castro Cubans and general anti-authority cranks there, I’m told. You know; unlike the fair-minded people of D.C.; or New Jersey, maybe.

Is imitation still the sincerest form of flattery?

(Yes, the J6 convicts got fair trials. Yes, Trump will get a fair trial in Miami and, come to that (and it will), D.C. Conviction will depend on the case less than the jury. Trump won’t be reprising O.J.’s “Dream Team.” Not in New York. Not in Florida. Not anywhere. Besides, there aren’t any gloves involved in evidence against him.)
