Trump is not getting the best lawyers. And that’s going to have consequences. The only reason he went so far as he did on the first case over these documents was the incompetence of Judge Cannon (her rulings never made sense; not from a legal pov). His lawyers haven’t improved, and DOJ can, I’m quite sure, remove Cannon first chance they get.

This motion would likely be the first chance.

By the time Trump gets indicted for Georgia and January 6th, he’s going to be finding lawyers off back of the bus ads.
