Who you gonna believe?

Me? Or your lyin' eyes?

“That is not what he did and he has said that 1,000 times,” [Kellyanne Conway] said Monday morning. “Why can’t you give him the benefit of the doubt?”

[CNN "New Day" host Chris] Cuomo shot back, “He can say it a million times but look at the video... he’s making a disgusting gesture on video.”

“Why is everything taken at face value?” she asked. “You can’t give him the benefit of the doubt on this and he’s telling you what was in his heart, you always want to go with what’s come out of his mouth rather than look at what’s in his heart.”
This is where I get to quote Jeremiah:

The heart is devious above all else;
it is perverse--
who can understand it?
I the LORD test the mind
and search the heart,
to give to all according to their ways,
according to the fruit of their doings.

Jeremiah 17:9-10

Can we judge the heart; or the actions?  And must we disregard whatever Trump says until his handlers can translate it?  Is that what she's telling the world?

And, as Chris Cuomo says, if Trump didn't mean to mock the man, why not just apologize?  Doesn't that tell us what's in Trump's heart?
